In the late 40s, aviation projects became an integral part of the practice—first, small projects for AA, then the Delta Maintenance Base at Love Field.
In 1948, Corgan was commissioned with the firm's first project for the City of Dallas; a new shed for the Dallas Farmers Market Complex. Corgan later designed the proposed Market Resource Center, Information Pavilion and new Parking Garage.
Corgan continued to branch into a wider range of work including schools, like Jefferson Davis Elementary for the Dallas ISD.
The firm’s work with the City of Dallas and the County Courts District began.
