The commercial aviation industry boomed in the early 60s due to the development of the fan jet for commercial use. As a result, Corgan completed new terminals for Braniff, Delta and Eastern airlines at Love Field Airport.
Touch-tone telephones were introduced in 1963 and the firm designed a number of toll buildings throughout the 60s to meet the demand.
Children of the baby boomers entered elementary, junior high and high school. As districts grew, so did Corgan’s schools practice.
The firm was incorporated in Texas on October 9, 1961.
